About Us
The H.F. Epstein Hebrew Academy, the first Hebrew day school in Missouri, has been the pioneering leader in the field of Jewish education in the St. Louis area for half a century. Academy graduates have become Torah scholars, educators and leaders in the Jewish community. They have been noteworthy in the arts, sciences, business, law and government. The school is a member in good standing of Torah Umesorah, the National Association of Hebrew Day Schools, and the Central Agency for Jewish Education. The school is also affiliated with ISACS (Independent School Association of Central States).
The Academy is a beneficiary agency of the Jewish Federation of St. Louis. In 1986, the H.F. Epstein Hebrew Academy was cited for Excellence in Education by the United States Department of Education.
