MATH CIRCLE
This week, EHA’s 3rd – 5th grades participated in an enrichment activity with Blake Thornton, Director of Wash U’s Math Circle. A “math circle” brings together students who enjoy the beauty and fascination of mathematics with an instructor who leads their exploration of intriguing topics. During our math circle, the students worked with manipulatives to “discover” the equation F (faces) + V (vertices) = E (edges) + 2.
